New 11.2" KAWS Figure Combines Elements of All Three Major Characters
A new vinyl figure marks a departure from KAWS' usual releases, this time reimagining his three signature characters as a single, fragmented composite rather than presenting them in their familiar full forms.
Standing at 11.2 inches, the piece combines a headless BFF body, which holds the head of Companion while stepping on a severed arm from Chum. The figure is currently being teased as a Black Only colorway, though it remains unconfirmed whether additional colorways will follow.
The dismembered, almost Halloween-like presentation echoes the severed hand imagery KAWS has explored throughout his career, most notably in his House of Voltaire cashmere blanket collaboration and in installations featured across several of his museum exhibitions.
