ZOOTH - Neighborhood - 2007
“Zooth” is a rare 2007 vinyl figure from KAWS and Japanese streetwear label Neighborhood, depicting a snarling skeletal bulldog with X-eyes and punk energy, originally priced at $115.
Retail Price: $115
Edition Size: 500
Released in 2007, “Zooth” was the result of a creative collaboration between KAWS and Shinsuke Takizawa’s iconic Japanese brand Neighborhood. The vinyl figure presents a crouching bulldog with sharp fangs, a stylized ribcage, and a fierce posture, blending KAWS’s trademark X-eyes with Neighborhood’s gritty, biker-inspired aesthetic. Unlike many of KAWS’s other figures, Zooth lacks gloved hands or humanoid features, making it a distinct entry in his catalog. Its sculpt and detailing speak more to the underground streetwear scene than pop art, capturing the rawness that both brands embraced in the mid-2000s.
The figure retailed for $115 and was released in an estimated edition size of 500 pieces, sold exclusively through Neighborhood’s stores and select Japanese retailers. It was never reissued, and no alternate colorways were produced, which has only increased its rarity over time. Zooth remains a standout for its departure from KAWS’s usual silhouettes, appealing to collectors of both vinyl art and Japanese fashion culture
