Partners is a 2012 vinyl and plastic sculpture by KAWS that recreates the famous Disneyland statue with Companion standing beside a realistic figure of the artist himself, Brian Donnelly, released in grey with 500 pieces produced at $250.

Physically, it is simple, two figures on a low base, the KAWS figure and a vulnerable Companion, staged as a tiny monument. The pose flips a bit of pop iconography into something more personal, hinting at mentorship, protection, and the weird tension between an artist’s public self and the character that made him famous.
The figure released in January 2012 with a split rollout. Colette announced a January 28 drop at ¥14,490 JPY, while U.S. releases list a $250 tag and an earlier online date; all versions are the compact vinyl-and-plastic build on a base at roughly 8 by 7 by 6.5 inches, with an edition of 500.
