TOGETHER began as a large-scale sculptural image before it entered the vinyl line. The embracing duo appeared in 2016 at More Gallery in Switzerland and in the exhibition KAWS: Where the End Starts at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, establishing the pose as a quiet counterpoint to the more stoic Companion stance that defined much of the artist’s 2000s work.
