KAWS: Universe - Uniqlo Fall 2026 Collection

Continuing his Artist in Residency at Uniqlo, KAWS introduces a new lineup of characters and items for Uniqlos Fall 2026 Collection, featuring the Earth, Sun, and the Moon.

Releasing September 14th, 2026 at 8:15amEST, the release features adult and kid size shirts and sweaters, along with three plush bag charms of the earth, sun, and moon.

Artist statement

Featured on the Uniqlo website, KAWS has this to say about the new collection: “I'm excited to launch my next UNIQLO collection, featuring new characters inspired by the Earth, Moon, and Sun—three things we all live under and share, celebrating what brings us together.”

Collection features (4) Unique Adult T Shirts, (3) Adult Sweatshirts, (3) Kids T Shirts, (3) Kids Sweatshirts, and (3) Character Plushes.

Past Work and Looking To the Future

KAWS recent work has increasingly been using the Earth and Moon for various Holiday Releases and Companions. We’ve recently seen the Moon and Earth in the KAWS: Holiday Thailand release, where a Companion is sitting on the earth while holding a Moon between itself and a smaller companion on his lap. We’ve also seen the KAWS: Holiday Shanghai Big Moon, where a Companion is sitting underneath a light up Moon, KAWS: Holiday Shanghai where Companion is lying on his back holding the moon, and KAWS: The Promise, where a larger companion is handing the earth to a smaller companion. In addition to these vinyls, we saw the KAWS: Peace for All Uniqlo Collab Shirt, which featured Companion hands holding a Earth.

One of the main differences from those to this release, however, is the feature of the signature “XX” eyes and face added to the planets, a departure from his previous planet related works.
